Stills from "Windows 2001"

In a world dominated by ever-changing software needs, the filmmakers have found striking similarities between Bill Gates' operating system and Stanely Kubrick's big black monolith.

This movie was shot entirely on Hi-8, then digitized on a Pentium PC running Windows 95 (which crashed three times during production), and transmogrified with Adobe Premiere. The final version was rendered at ten frames per second with Cinepack compression.
